Q. Why does your name have two n's in it?
A. Kenneth is my real name so it was
,,,,shortened to Kenn instead of Ken.
Q. How are Square Pears different from the.old
"hink pinks"?
A. "Square Pear" answers rhyme but both words
don't have to be the same number.of syllables as in
hink pinks. Also, Square.Pears include a picture to
aid in solving.the riddle unlike the hink pinks.
Q. How do you come up with all of those.Square Pear
riddles?
A. I write down ideas all the time...(they're always
in my mind). I also get ideas from my friends, my
students at school & my.family.
Q. How many "Square Pear" books are you.going to
write?
A. I would really love to write a new book.every
summer. I'm not sure if that's.possible, but that's
my goal.
Q. Since you are an art teacher do you ever.do
"Square Pear" projects with your kids.at school?
A. Yes I do! It's really FUN to make up ....and
illustrate your own Square Pears.
Q. Does your wife like "Square Pears"?
A. She does, but sometimes I drive her a.little
"CrAzY" with them 'cuz I can't.stop saying and
making them up.
Q. Which book do you like best "Square ....Pears" or
"Square Pears Two" ?
A. That's a hard one.....I guess I'd have to.say I
like "Two" a little better because it.has more
riddles in it.
